The staff at CK&R has a combined knowledge of over 50 years’ in the custom cabinet industry. We are a small company which allows us to give a more personal service to our builders and their customers. Our team prides ourselves with dedication to our work and service to our builders and their customers. We are devoted in keeping up with all the emerging trends and offer a wide variety of upgrades and options to assist in creating the ultimate space. Richard Curry
My name is Richard William Curry, but I go by Rick. I am the President of CK&R Cabinets LLC, in partnership with Chris Burke, since August 2011. I have been married for over 20+ years and have 4 children and 5 grandchildren. I went into the Army at 18 years old to be a Medic, upon my completion of my 4-year term, I exited the Army and went to work for a Custom Cabinet Company. I currently have over 30+ years of experience in the Cabinetry business and an Owner of my own business for 14 years now. I am not one to speak highly of myself, but one of my most impressive achievements is that I have employee’s that have followed me from Company to Company and now work for me at my own company, which means a lot to me. My current hobbies are that I take pleasure in going to Biker Rallies and indulge in a little riding time, I am a huge UT fan and enjoy tailgating and like to travel in our RV with friends and family. I am a pretty simple man who is just trying to provide a healthy life for my family and co-workers alike.
Chris Burke
My name is Chris Burke, I am the Vice President of CK&R Cabinets LLC, in partnership with Richard Curry, since August 2011. I grew up in New York but wouldn’t call myself a Yankie as I have lived in Texas for the past 43 years. I spent 4 years in the Navy as an Operations Specialist on the USS Independence. I have 2 Adult children a son and a daughter with 4 grandkids, 3 boys and 1 girl. I completed a Journeymen’s Carpenters certificate and have worked in commercial construction for 5 years and have also previously owned a commercial cabinet company for 8 years. I have now resided in Residential Cabinetry Sales for 24 years. In my off time I enjoy watching my grandkids sports activities, enjoying the night life and I am a Huge Sports fan. Go Longhorns!
Nina Curry
My name is Nina Curry, I am the Office Manager here at CK&R Cabinets LLC. When starting this company with Richard Curry, I had no knowledge of accounting, but with the help of others and a lot of googling I have learned to manage all aspects of the accounting world. I had previous experience in purchasing and inventory management, so this was a great help to me too. With that being said, I now have 30+ years in the Accounting Field. I have 4 Adult children and 5 grandbabies who are my whole world! I enjoy riding with Ricky on his Harley Davidson, hanging with the kiddos, going to the gym, spending time traveling and have recently picked up playing Pickel Ball, which I found to greatly enjoy.
Brian Normann
My name is Brian Normann. I am a seasoned professional in custom cabinet design, specializing in blending high-end millwork seamlessly with the cutting-edge trends in home design, while tying in desired functionality and ease of access. My years of experience working with hundreds of builders, interior designers, architects, and homeowners has given me a keen eye for aesthetics, a deep understanding of construction feasibility and a commitment to delivering personalized results. I combine artistic vision with meticulous attention to detail to transform ideas into eye catching realities. Passionate about staying ahead of design trends, I balance innovation with an enduring style to create spaces that elevate every client’s lifestyle. When I am not assisting with dream homes, I enjoy playing golf, perfecting my grilling techniques and exploring new travel destinations with my adventurous wife.
Scott Healy
My name is Scott Healy. I am a Sales Manager at CK&R Cabinets LLC and have worked here for 5+ years. I have spent decades in the cabinetry / carpentry industry, I like to say, “I don’t know much about a lot, but I do know a little bit about cabinets”. I am married with two adult children, two adult stepchildren and one grandchild. I love to spend time with my three rescue dogs. I was a volunteer firefighter for 35 years Moving from Vermont to Texas, I can now enjoy the Texas Sun and my passion for motorcycle riding year around, riding tens of thousands of miles a year and has been the “High Mileage Rider” for 3 years running in the Central Texas Harley Owners Group.
